About Us

Young At Art (YAA) has been at the forefront of arts education in Broward County, population 1.9 million, since 1989. YAA’s mission is to enrich our community through artistic, interactive experiences for all ages which inspire creativity and encourage an understanding of the world in which we live.

YAA Museum features innovative galleries where visitors can activate their imagination and explore interactive and immersive installations by local and internationally renowned artists. The installation spaces host a variety of exciting art making activities for visitors to create their own masterpieces. Also providing learning through play opportunities for children and people of all ages and abilities.

Programs offered annually at YAA range from Artist Workshop Series, Art Workshops, Art Classes in the YAA institute, Play Dates; for early development, Special Events, Family Events, pARTies, Field Trips, Classroom Outreaches, Summer Art Camp to Community Initiatives; providing free art programing and support for our communities in need through the power of Art!

Renowned Artists – painters, sculptors, animators, filmmakers, textile, graffiti, woodblock, multimedia, muralists, fiber, and photographers – have infused their creative voice into YAA through installations, guest appearances, and instruction in the YAA Institute.
